In this video Elena goes on a relaxing day trip to Thanlyin which is close to Yangon in Myanmar. She visits a peaceful reservoir which is popular with locals for picnics and swimming. Then she visits an organic farm and takes in its quiet atmosphere while enjoying some of their local produce. Finally, she goes to a local pub where she drinks toddy juice – strong alcoholic drink made from fermented palm sugar. She also tries some local delicacies such as deep-fried “mouse” (rat) and deep-fried frog.
